Account Executive

Description

Ralph Engelstad Arena is seeking an Account Executive for our Fighting Hawks Sports Partnerships team in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The Account Executive will be responsible for driving sponsorship revenue for Fighting Hawks Sports Partnerships by managing current partner relationships and driving new business growth with a primary focus on local, small businesses while cultivating a strong presence within the community.

The Account Executive will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

  • Meet and/or exceed assigned sales goal by developing and selling creative, custom sponsorship packages for prospective partners.
  • Develop strong and diverse relationships within the local community.
  • Oversee and evolve assigned corporate partner relationships.
  • Follow industry trends for new sponsorship inventory and creative sponsorship packages.
  • Execute entire sales process; prospecting, sales presentations, contract negotiations, recaps, upselling and renewing current partners.
  • Understand strategic goals and objects of Athletics Department, and Arena.
  • Develop strong relationships within FHSP, Athletics Department, and Arena.
  • Entertain partners at various game day and special events.
  • During peak times assist fulfillment team with various duties, including but not limited to proposal creation, gameday fulfillment, and asset mockups.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The Ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications/skills:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong probelm solving skills
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, including but not limited to social media and content marketing.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe products and familiarity with CRM’s.
  • Willing to work limited evenings, weekends, and holidays as requested.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • At least one (1) year of experience within sports marketing, partnerships or other relevant Business-to-Business sales experience.

This is a full-time benefited position. The pay will start at $40,000-$45,000 plus commission, depending on experience.
